1995 BMW E34 540i Saloon - SOLD
This is the third from last E34 ever made on the very last day of production (27th December 1995)
This is the second time I have owned this superb car. I previously owned it for approximately 5 years and sold it approximately two
and a half years ago with 39K miles on the clock. In the intervening time it has had a further £6000 lavished on it with all receipts to prove it, and has only covered 5000 miles since.
The work was carried out at Bird's the well-known and respected ex-Hartge specialists. This included, amongst other things, the addition of a BMW Quaife LSD Kit (3.45:1) at a cost of £3000 and Bilstein suspension at a cost of £1200.
These enhancements are invisible and have not materially changed the look of the car at all. They have however significantly transformed the performance and handling of the car. The car retains its very subtle looks but its performance is truly superb!
Additonally, it has brand new tyres all round (spare wheel is unused) and a brand new windscreen (so nice and clear!).
It is MOT'd until June 2016 (although I am still waiting for the chap I got it back from to give me this last certificate this can be verified online in the meantime).
The body and paintwork are unmarked and I have spent much time re-detailing the car so that it is swirl free and the shine needs to be seen! There aren't even stone-chips on the front.
I have re-instated the period correct Alpine Radio/ Cassette Head Unit and boot-mounted 6-CD Changer.
All other elements and information are essentially as they were 2 years ago (except that the reg number has changed).

Please do not confuse this car with other E34s currently for sale...even some of the E34 M5s which have mileages 2-3 times the mileage of this car. This is car is unrepeatable.
I am only offering this car for sale (and my E85 Z4 3.0Si) to free up some space as we have too many cars and I may be taking on another classic BMW soon. If either does not sell I will simply keep them and forego taking on this additional classic...which if I had any sense is probably what I should do anyway!
